On June 24, revelers gathered for the Dolly Day event in Listowel, County Kerry, in an attempt to set a world record for the largest gathering of people wearing a “full head-to-toe Dolly Parton costume.”
Fans and impersonators of country music’s queen dressed to the nines in blonde curly wigs, cowboy boots and rhinestone-covered costumes — and sang Parton’s hit song “9 to 5” in unison.
