0:37Now PlayingWild video shows an elderly motorist repeatedly crashing his car into Louisiana businesses before racing away in a panic.
The unidentified 78-year-old man was trying to park for an appointment at Babin Physical Therapy in Kenner Tuesday when he suddenly sped forward and damaged a column, police told WDSU.
A bystander then filmed as he jumped a curb and turned around — speeding backward straight into the adjoining Optical shop.
The footage showed the badly damaged white sedan speeding away with its front bumper missing and the rear one barely hanging on.
Miraculously, no one was injured in the incident.
Police said the driver may have suffered from a medical episode because he was disoriented and unable to answer their questions.
