0:46Now PlayingA trio of brazen thieves was caught on video pilfering bags of merchandise from an East Los Angeles Nike store over the weekend — just one day after a nearby Nordstrom was swiped of over $300,000 in stock.
One man and two women entered the Nike Community Store on Whittier Boulevard just after 5:30 p.m. on Sunday and began boldly grabbing whatever they could carry in full view of staff and other shoppers, the video circulated on the Citizen app shows, KTLA reported.
One of the suspects is seen carrying a large trash bag stacked with shoe boxes.
When the bag spilled open, the individual calmly repacked the boxes before following the accomplices out of the store.
The three are believed to have stolen around $1,000 worth of merchandise, including luggage and footwear, police told the outlet.
