Outside the Heuermann house on Long Island, however, sightseeing tourists and reporters from around the globe are shutting down any new developments. “The people I want to talk to are scared away by big crowds of TV cameras and journalists,” Sheehan said – of note, Asa Ellerup, Rex Heuermann’s wife. He called the chaotic press storm a “Who pissed in the pool?” problem.
