The Duke and Duchess of Sussex jetted across the pond from their California abode last June to attend the monarch’s Platinum Jubilee in England.
The couple were also commemorating their daughter’s big day at the time and according to royal footman Paul Burrell, the queen had a special dessert made for the little tyke.
However, the sovereign — who died on Sept. 8, 2022, at the age of 96 — allegedly didn’t get to meet with her great-granddaughter on her big day.
“Even on Lilibet’s first birthday the Queen didn’t see her,” Burrell, 65, told the Mirror recently.
