0:48Now PlayingA Russian airline flight from Sochi to Omsk made an emergency landing in the Novosibirsk region after a system failure on Tuesday, September 12.
The Ural Airlines flight was forced to make the landing due to a hydraulic failure, according to local media.
The pilot decided to fly to Novosibirsk International Airport to make use of its longer runway; however, due to lack of fuel, the plane had to land in a field in the Novosibirsk region, local media said.
There were around 160 passengers on board the flight, according to various local sources. Storyful is working to confirm the exact number of passengers.
There were no initial reports of injuries.
