0:47Now PlayingJimmy Fallon is back on TV. The late-night host poked fun at Colorado Republican Lauren Boebert in his opening monologue Monday night, following the end of the Writers Guild of America strike.
“I am so excited to be here. I am so excited,” gushed Fallon, 49, in a clip posted to X (formerly Twitter). “Seriously. I’m more excited than a guy seeing ‘Beetlejuice’ with Lauren Boebert.”
The jab at Boebert, 36, comes mere weeks after the congresswoman and her male companion, who was later identified as Quinn Gallagher, were escorted out of a performance of “Beetlejuice: The Musical” at Temple Hoyne Buell Theatre in Denver for “unruly” behavior.
