YouTube Description
as posted by the channelA bear on the prowl for food in South Lake Tahoe, California, fell asleep in a dumpster after it got locked inside the trash bin, a local wildlife expert said.
This video was recorded by bear advocate Toogee Sielsch on September 27 and shows the large animal slowly climbing out of the dumpster, as Sielsch loudly prompts it to go away.
Sielsch posted the footage to Instagram, where he wrote that his day started with a message “about a big fella that got locked in a dumpster.”
He said that, after making the exit accessible to the animal, he had to wake the bear to get him out.
“He was making the best of a bad situation by taking a nap,” Sielsch said.
Sielsch frequently captures videos and images of wildlife in the Lake Tahoe area and shares the footage on his Instagram account.
