A 2,749-pounder, grown by reigning North American champ Travis Gienger, wowed spectators at the Safeway World Championship Pumpkin Weigh-Off in Half Moon Bay, California. Once confirmed, Gienger's 1.37-ton gourd, which also earned him $30,000 in prize money, will replace the current Guinness World Record holder at 2,702 pounds.
