0:31Now PlayingPennsylvania Senator John Fetterman waved an Israeli flag outside the Capitol as he walked past a veterans’ group calling for a ceasefire in Gaza on Thursday, November 9.
Footage captured by About Face, an organization consisting of service members and veterans who advocate against war, shows demonstrators on Capitol Hill chanting for a ceasefire while others are arrested on Thursday evening. As Fetterman exits, he waves a miniature Israeli flag in front of the demonstrators.
On Wednesday, Fetterman posted footage showing “the posters of the innocent Israelis kidnapped by Hamas” outside his office and has been vocal about support of Israel.
“They will stay up until every single person is safely returned home,” he said in his post.
According to About Face, the last part of the footage shows Brittany Ramos DeBarros pressing Fetterman to support a ceasefire in Gaza.
