Abigail Mor Edan, who turned 4 on Friday during captivity, was among the 17 hostages released by Hamas on Sunday during the third day in the pause on fighting.
“Jill and I together with so many Americans are praying for the fact that she is going to be alright,” Biden said during remarks from Nantucket, Mass., where he spent Thanksgiving. “She’s free, and she’s in Israel now.”
Israel and Hamas began their four-day pause in the war Friday in exchange for the daily release of hostages and the enabling of aid to flow into the Gaza Strip.
