Despite its delectable avocado egg rolls and traditional strawberry cheesecake, the popular chain eatery topped a contentious list of the worst first date spots that has sparked backlash online.
“First of all, what the hell’s wrong with Cheesecake Factory?” exclaimed TV personality Stephen A. Smith on his radio show. “Ain’t nothing wrong with the Cheesecake Factory.”
Boston radio host Bob Bronson, of WROR, also drafted a blog post “in defense” of the restaurant, touting its impressive selection of dishes, “fantastic” bread and hallmark cheesecake for dessert.
Meanwhile, comedian Tim Young told Fox News that the people who don’t like the Cheesecake Factory “are lying.”
