as posted by the channelHarrowing new video shows more clearly the moment an SUV raced off a Virginia Beach pier into the Atlantic — with other footage of it underwater still not making clear if anyone was inside.
The new footage from Saturday shows how the vehicle mysteriously barreled across the sidewalk toward the pier barrier — almost slamming into a pedestrian who was walking nearby.
It was then seen speeding along the 14th Street Fishing Pier with its brake lights blinking sporadically before flying into the water, where it landed upside down.
Eerie new footage then shows the SUV lying submerged about 17 feet beneath the choppy surface.
