A seemingly innocent tweet made by beloved “Sesame Street” icon Elmo sparked a flurry of concerning reactions — and reassurance from President Joe Biden.

“Elmo is just checking in! How is everybody doing?” the puppet, who is reportedly only 3 years old, posted on X (formerly Twitter).

Little did Elmo know, he was about to be inundated with various responses ranging from football losses to job layoffs, to even marital woes and the impending destruction of the human race.

One common theme among the tweets, however, was that everyone seemed to be at their breaking point.
