1:02Now PlayingDramatic dash cam footage captured the moment an ambulance carrying a patient nearly collided with an out-of-control car that had rolled over on a Massachusetts highway during Tuesday’s powerful winter storm.
Tim Crosbie, a paramedic with Cataldo Ambulance Service, was driving on I-95 in Peabody with a patient in the back when a white sedan suddenly rolled across the median and crashed in front of him.
“Next thing I see out of the corner of my left eye is a car coming across the median,” Crosbie told NBC10 Boston. “Basically right at me.”
EMT Tim Wareham watched the jaw-dropping accident unfold in front of his eyes from the backseat, where he was taking care of the patient.
“It’s almost like slow motion when you’re living through it,” Wareham told the station. “It was coming right at us.”
