0:23Now PlayingA horse was spotted galloping along Interstate 95 in Philadelphia on Tuesday, February 20, much to the surprise of early-morning commuters.
Video captured by Angelo Palmer shows the horse running on a northbound shoulder of the busy roadway. The horse’s owners worked with police to bring it to safety in the Port Richmond neighborhood at around 6:45 am, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported. It was unclear where the horse had escaped from.
After the horse was brought to safety, Philadelphia Police joked about the incident on X, writing, “Hey Philly, uh, hold your horses (so we don’t have to).”
