as posted by the channelA dog strolling along a beach in Queensland seemed initially unaware that it had some sinister company only yards away, as a crocodile lurked close by, tracking it from the shallows.
The too-close-for-comfort encounter was recorded by drone photographer Jerry Ahmat and shows the dog sniffing around the shore. Lurking in the water, just a few meters away, a crocodile can be seen watching and following the pooch, before taking a good look as it comes closer to shore.
At this point, the dog seems to notice something in the water, and has a look, before moving off. According to 9News, the dog lived to stroll another day.
Ahmat shared the footage to his Instagram account, warning locals to be on the lookout for crocs.
