0:29Now PlayingFootage showing the “beary sweet duo” of a huge Siberian brown bear and the co-founder of an animal sanctuary based in Otisville, New York, was shared online on March 18.
Susan Kowalczik, who founded the Orphaned Wildlife Center in 2015 along with her husband Jim, and friend Kerry Clair, can be seen in the footage cuddling with Sonya, a female brown bear, who is listed as weighing in at 340 pounds on the center’s website.
The center often shares videos and updates about the animals in its care to its YouTube channel and Facebook page.
Posting the footage of Sonya and Kowalczik to YouTube, the Orphaned Wildlife Center noted that “from cuddles to kisses”, all the bears “adore Susan” at the facility, and “she adores them right back”.
