as posted by the channelPresident Biden assured Americans Tuesday that he would head to the site of the Baltimore bridge collapse "as quickly as I can," before taking off on the campaign trail to North Carolina.
When asked by reporters Tuesday if and how soon he plans to visit the site of the collapse Biden responded, "I do, and as quickly as I can."
Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris are headed for the battleground state this week, where Trump currently leads by 46% despite polls showing most voters have an unfavorable view of both major party contenders.
As of Tuesday afternoon, nothing was listed on the president's week-ahead plan for Wednesday, but he is expected in New York City on Thursday for a fundraiser at Radio City Music Hall.
Biden will then stay in the city overnight before going to Camp David for Easter weekend.
