Slain NYPD Officer Jonathan Diller’s wife gave an emotional eulogy at the fallen officer’s funeral service on Saturday, calling his tragic death “devastating.”

Her moving tribute with personal anecdotes about their early days of dating and his childhood came moments after Diller was posthumously promoted to detective.

“My husband died a hero, but he also lived as one,” she said.

Diller’s new badge number is 110, to honor his young son’s birthday. His son, Ryan, was seen being held just steps behind his mother on the altar of St. Rose of Lima.

In her closing remarks she stated, “Rest in peace Jonathan, the man who captured my heart and now all of New York’s.”
