The former president’s lawyers ended their defense case Tuesday after their sole consequential witness, Trump-allied lawyer Bob Costello, stepped down from the stand — but the historic hush money case won’t be in the hands of jurors until next week. NY Post reporter Ben Kochman shares this story.
“Your honor, the defense rests,” Trump attorney Todd Blanche said in Manhattan Supreme Court as the ex-president sat next to him leaning back in his chair with his eyes closed.
