1:10Now PlayingSuspected Gilgo Beach serial killer Rex Heuermann will be charged in the murders of two additional women when he’s hauled back to court Thursday, sources told The Post.
The hulking Manhattan architect-turned-murder suspect will be arraigned on an indictment in the 2003 death of Jessica Taylor and the 1993 slaying of Sandra Costilla, sources said Wednesday.
The remains of Taylor, a 20-year-old woman working as an escort in New York City, were found in a wooded area in Manorville on July 26, 2003. Her additional remains — initially labeled “Jane Doe No. 5” — were discovered on March 29, 2011, along Ocean Parkway.
In March of this year, investigators discovered a trove of sickening “planning documents” that Heuermann allegedly used to “methodically blueprint” his kills, the new filing alleged.
The damning evidence was found on a hard drive that was taken from Heuermann’s basement during a search of his Massapequa Park home in the wake of his arrest in July 2023, prosecutors explained.
“The task force believes that this is a planning document that was used by Heuermann to plot out his kills with excruciating detail,” Suffolk County District Attorney Ray Tierney told reporters after the arraignment Thursday.
