We’re gonna need a bigger beach.

Two separate shark sightings off the Rockaways temporarily shut down miles of city beaches to swimmers on Thursday, officials said.

The first shark was confirmed off Beach 86th Street around 1:20 p.m, according to a New York City Department of Parks and Recreation spokesperson.

The beach was closed to swimmers for a mile in each direction, from Beach 64 to Beach 104th Street, and opened one hour later per department protocol.
