On Sunday, in honor of his anniversary with his late wife, Natalie, he decided to skydive for a sixth time.
"Every time I jump out of a plane, I can hear her say, 'Billy, you're as crazy as ever,'" Rogers said as he prepared for his jump at Skydive Pepperell in Pepperell, Massachusetts.
"When I first saw her, I couldn't keep my eyes off of her. I asked her to walk with me. She agreed. We held hands, we looked at each other, and we both knew then it was going to be forever. People said, 'You're crazy; you don't know what love is about,'" Rogers said. "Well, 70 years later, I was still holding her hand when she passed away."
