0:21Now PlayingThrill seekers in NYC were caught subway surfing during a rain storm on Aug. 3. The video shows two dimwitted daredevils standing on the city-bound train as it apparently rolls past the Lowery Street-40th Street station in Sunnyside.
The dangerous trend has resulted in recent deaths and numerous critical injuries around the boroughs, prompting MTA Chair Janno Lieber and Mayor Adams to launch an anti-subway surfing campaign in 2023.
