The Ministry of Health said five ambulances – including two dedicated to children and three to adults – were sent to the scene.
According to Noticias Paraguay the blaze started in one of the houses before being spread quickly strong winds.
Nelson Mora, chief of staff of the Municipality of Asuncion, said temporary shelters were offered to the affected families, NPY reported.
