0:34Now PlayingA pilot and passenger narrowly avoided tragedy when a small plane nosedived onto a busy road in the UK, their flight club said.
Both occupants sat in the cockpit looking stunned just moments after the aircraft smashed into the A419 in Gloucestershire at 4:45 Tuesday afternoon, photos of the scene showed.
One of the plane’s wings snapped off on impact, while debris was scattered across the roadway and motorists lined up behind the wreck.
Drivers immediately got out to help the pilot and passenger, who were spotted shimmying out of the fractured plane with the help of passersby.
