0:59Now PlayingA videographer who flew his drone just above a volcanic crater in Iceland on August 28 recorded mesmerizing shots of the lava there.
Jeroen Van Nieuwenhove posted the footage to Instagram a couple of days later, where he said that the latest eruption near Grindavik had been showing “no real signs of slowing down at this time”.
He recorded the beautiful visuals, which he described as various patterns and movement directions “mind-boggling to watch”.
Official monitoring reports said that although the eruption was still active, there had been “very little seismic activity” at the craters in the two days to September 2.
