“I am Malik Obama. I’m a registered Republican and I’m voting for President Donald Trump,” the Kenya-born naturalized US citizen posted on X.
The 44th president’s relative backed Trump, 78, against former members of the Obama administration in each of the last two elections.
The snub of Vice President Kamala Harris — one day after former Republican congresswoman Liz Cheney endorsed her — also comes after Obama reportedly helped elevate the Californian to the top of the 2024 Democratic ticket to replace Biden, 81.
