3:58Now PlayingElise Stefanik went on to have a heated back-and-forth with Andrew Cuomo over his "multimillion-dollar" advance on a gushing memoir of his pandemic leadership.
"I'm asking the questions today," she spoke over the ex-governor, before asking when exactly he negotiated for the $5 million deal.
Cuomo sidestepped the question -- leading to the two talking over each other, with voices raised as Stefanik continued to push the ex-gov on his book.
She then suggested that Cuomo stand up and apologize to families in the hearing room who lost loved ones to COVID, which he did not take her up on.
"There's a reason you are the former governor of New York," Stefanik seethed. "You will never hold elected office again."
