1:33Now PlayingFormer President Donald Trump announced Thursday that he will eliminate all taxes on overtime pay if elected to the White House.
“As part of our additional tax cuts, we will end all taxes on overtime,” Trump pledged at a rally in Tucson, Ariz., a key swing state in the 2024 election.
The former president argued that his plan “gives people more of an incentive to work” and will make it easier for companies to attract workers.
“You’ll get a whole new workforce by doing the no taxes on overtime,” Trump said.
