Outgoing NYC Schools Chancellor David Banks and his longtime love, First Deputy Mayor Sheena Wright, quietly planned a weekend wedding on Martha’s Vineyard — amid an ongoing federal corruption investigation swirling around Mayor Eric Adams’ administration, The Post has learned.
“They’re definitely getting married,” said a source close to the chancellor’s office.
Banks and Wright — two of Mayor Adams’ top aides — were rumored to be planning a wedding on the ritzy Massachusetts island during the summer of 2023 but never sealed the deal, and they’ve been tightlipped about their marriage plans since.
