Supporters for Tim Walz and JD Vance lined the streets outside the CBS debate venue hours before the 9 pm show.

Walz had a line of voters chanting "Coach! Coach!" across from the 57th Street studio, while Vance and Donald Trump supporters gathered one block away on 56th.

Ariel Kohane, a New Yorker from the Upper West Side and a member of the Republican Jewish Coalition, said he hopes Vance "wipes the floor with Tim Walz" and "exposes" him for his liberal record in Minnesota and his ties to China.

"I believe its going to be a fun and exciting debate even though unfortunately CBS is biased," Kohane said.
