1:21Now PlayingFire, meet ice. Stunning aerial video shows molten lava traveling across a snowy landscape in Iceland following Sundhnukagigar Volcano's Feb. 2024 eruption. Videographer Jeroen Van Nieuwenhove says many social media users were stunned by the visuals, believing them to be AI-generated because of the lack of visible steam. The phenomenon is called the Leidenfrost Effect, where water instantly vaporizes, then hovers over an extremely hot surface.
