1:02Now PlayingThick plumes of smoke were spotted bursting out of the roof of a 13-story building in Soho early Wednesday afternoon.
Firefighters responded to the two-alarm blaze at 451 Broome St. between Mercer Street and Broadway around 2:52 p.m., the FDNY told The Post.
Firefighters are still on the scene trying to extinguish the mixed occupancy loft, according to fire officials.
Smoke-eaters were seen putting out pockets of fire on the roof, according to photos the FDNY posted to X.
