as posted by the channelHuman bones washed up along the Brooklyn Bridge Park shoreline this week — marking at least the fifth time remains have been recovered from the waterfront in the last few months, officials said Friday.
All of the body parts — found just steps from the iconic Jane’s Carousel — are believed to have belonged to the same person, a rep for the city Medical Examiner’s Office told The Post.
In the most recent gruesome discovery, what’s believed to be a pelvic bone was spotted around 6:30 p.m. Thursday wedged between the rocks off the East River near Water and Dock Streets in DUMBO, cops and sources said.
A spokeswoman for the ME’s office confirmed Friday that the remains “are believed to come from the same person” as all of the skeletal parts found over the past four months.
