It's the first time the former running mates are believed to have spoken in four years.
Pence broke with Trump after the 45th president claimed the 2020 election had been "stolen," and launched a series of challenges culminating in the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot.
The then-veep was presiding over the 2020 certification vote in the Capitol at the time -- and had to be whisked away by his security detail as rioters breached the building.
