0:55Now PlayingA father and his 12-year-old son were rescued by helicopter from a steep cliffside in Utah’s Snow Canyon State Park on February 17, as shown in a video released by the state’s Department of Public Safety.
According to the department, the pair became lost while hiking and were trapped overnight on February 17.
Officials said crews worked through the night and into the early morning hours until the helicopter crew located the two stranded on a shallow ledge and hoisted them to safety.
