3:52Now PlayingUkrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky shared an update to X on relations with the US and Europe days after a heated argument with Donald Trump and JD Vance. The update also comes off the heels of meetings with European leaders who pledged more support to Ukraine’s defense. Zelensky stated, “maintaining normal, partnership-based relations with America is essential to bringing the war to a real end.” He added, “Ukraine is grateful to the U.S. for all the support that has been and is being provided.”
After sharing his gratitude for US support, he thanked European leaders, such as the President of Finland and others who attended a recent conference on bolstering Ukraine's defense. He noted, “There is very important news about significant funds for Europe’s defense… and all of this creates a solid additional foundation for efforts to bring the war to an end.
