1:13Now PlayingRead more at One reporter's question lingered with viewers after a fiery exchange between President Trump, VP Vance, and Ukraine President Zelensky last Friday, February 28. “Real America’s Voice” host Brian Glenn probed Zelensky on his choice of clothing, asking why the Ukrainian leader is not wearing a suit. While Zelensky brushed off the query, viewers took note of a suspicious wink Trump shot at Glenn afterward.
When pressed by Piers Morgan as to whether the wink meant the question was set-up by Trump, Glenn responded:
“No, I do not talk to the President offline. I do not talk to him unofficially. I talk to him in the interaction of whatever environment that I’m in. He and I go way back. We’ve been covering on the campaign trail and I tend to be one of his favourite guys in the media, I understand that and I know that comes with some criticism with that. But that was not pre-planned. JD Vance, myself, President Trump did not pre-determine this whole ‘ambush’ or bully[ing] of him.”
