as posted by the channelDeputies from the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office, including its air unit, managed to “safely recover” a missing 16-year-old girl after a harrowing car chase on March 15.
Police say the vehicle carrying the runaway teen was driven by 19-year-old Jesus Esteban Arellano, who had warrants out for his arrest in Texas for five counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Officers managed to use a precision immobilization technique to force the vehicle into a spin out and eventually bring it to a full stop. Arellano was charged with fleeing law enforcement, giving a false name, and driving without a license.
