John Prevost, the 69-year-old pope’s older brother, was hosting Obed Lamy at his New Lenox, Ill., home Thursday when he realized that he had missed several calls on his iPad from his brother in Rome. Lamy characterized the history-making chat he witnessed as a shockingly normal conversation between brothers.
