2:35Now PlayingLos Angeles Mayor Karen Bass has imposed an overnight curfew for a section of downtown Los Angeles as protests continue in response to President Donald Trump’s immigration policies.
The curfew covers a one-square-mile area and will be in effect from 8 p.m. June 10 to 6 a.m. June 11, Bass announced at a press conference. The decision comes after nights of unrest that saw multiple businesses damaged or looted.
