2:06Now PlayingPresident Donald Trump signaled a hardening stance toward Iran on Wednesday, saying that while he doesn't want a war, the US may be left with no choice if Tehran continues its nuclear ambitions. Speaking from the Oval Office, Trump declared, “I’m not looking to fight. But if it’s a choice between fighting and them having a nuclear weapon, you have to do what you have to do.” His comments followed criticism of French President Emmanuel Macron, who claimed Trump had left the G7 summit early to pursue a ceasefire deal between Israel and Iran. Trump fired back online, calling Macron “publicity seeking” and dismissing ceasefire talk as outdated. “We’re long beyond that stage,” he said, insisting the goal now is “total, complete victory.”
