as posted by the channelAt least nine people were killed and 30 hospitalized after a fire tore through a Massachusetts assisted living facility, officials said Monday.
Five firefighters were also injured as they tackled the deadly blaze that broke out around 9:30 p.m. Sunday at the Gabriel House Assisted Living Residence in Fall River, fire officials said. “We do have fatalities and multiple injuries,” Fall River Fire Chief Jeffrey Bacon told WJAR of the blaze at the facility that is home to around 70 residents.
