YouTube Description

as posted by the channel

In a video posted to X, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Air Force Secretary Troy Meink announced more than $10 billion in savings thanks to DOGE. Meink said the department reviewed more than 500 contracts and 50 business systems as part of its efforts. The department did not offer a detailed breakdown of the savings, but most appear to come from cancelling consultant contracts, as well as reducing civilian employment.
