as posted by the channel

President Trump signed the Halt All Lethal Trafficking of (HALT) Fentanyl Act, which permanently classifies fentanyl-related substances as a Schedule I drug under the Controlled Substances Act. The categorization now gives law enforcement more authority to crack down on the spread of fentanyl, and carries stronger penalties related convictions. According to the White House, Trump was “surrounded by families who have lost loved ones to the scourge of fentanyl.”
