2:36Now PlayingHundreds of students from Milestone School and College in Dhaka protested near their campus on Tuesday, (July 22) demanding government transparency in reporting casualties following the deadly crash of an Air Force jet into their school premises.
Among six demands raised during the demonstration, students called for the government to ensure the "actual number of bodies should not be kept a secret," according to Istiaq Ali Raihan, a Grade 11 student at the institution.
A government statement issued by Chief Advisor’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam, which was posted on his social media page, said that “the interim government considers all six demands raised by students of Milestone School and College, following the casualties in the recent aircraft accident, to be reasonable.”
