2:01Now PlayingThe streets of Thailand’s Kantharalak District have fallen still after locals evacuated the town due to the border conflict between Cambodia and Thailand. Local resident and hotel staffer Chianuwat Thalalai said "Nearly everybody's gone, it's almost a deserted city. Only the police investigators that the Kantharalak District has asked to remain to oversee order around the neighbourhood are around. My hotel is still open for some of those nearer to the border area that needs a place to stay."
