2:04Now PlayingFormer Vice President Kamala Harris moaned Thursday in an interview with Stephen Colbert that the American political system is “broken.” Harris, who announced Wednesday that she wouldn’t be running for California governor, which left many to speculate she might launch a 2028 presidential run, was asked by “The Late Show” host — in her first post-election interview — if she was perhaps interested in a “different office.” “No … it’s perhaps more basic than that,” Harris responded before complaining about being sick of the “the system.” Colbert appeared stunned by Harris’ reluctance to get back into politics, saying, “I’m hearing you don’t want to be a part of the fight anymore.” To which the former Veep responded, “Oh, absolutely not. I’m always going to be part of the fight.”
